General Herd Information:
About Us:
We are located out east of Kiowa in Ramah, Colorado. My husband is the Regional Sales Manager for High Plains Cattle Supply, http://hpcattlesupply.com. We have cattle and horses, as well, and usually foal a couple mares each year. Spring is a busy time here! Because of our location, my goal is to become somewhat self sufficient. So far, we have a steady supply of milk and raise our own beef. We also sell custom beef and ground beef shares (email for availability and information). In the next couple years, I'd like to begin a garden and get chickens. We love to be outside working on projects or with the animals. We enjoy every bit of this lifestyle and love raising our son here. We are so thankful to be able to live this way of life!

General Herd Information:
- Tested all does CAE negative January 2013. Bucks will be tested after Spring baths (all come from CAE negative herds or tested negative in 2012).
- My herd is double registered with AGS and ADGA. I am a member of AGS, ADGA, CDGA, and RMAC.
- The herd will be linear appraised in August 2013.
- We participate in one day milk tests when available.
- We are attending several shows this year. See the calender below!

Driving Directions to Prairie Hills Farm:
From Kiowa (about 20 mins.):
Take Hwy 86 east for about 10-15 mins. Turn left (north) onto CR 93, right after mile marker 36. This road will come to a “T” at which point you will turn right (east) onto CR 122. Go to the top of the hill and turn left (north) onto Ridge Road/CR 99. Go about a mile and take your first right (east) onto Longhorn. Longhorn will “V”, so just keep to the right. It will “V” again, at which point you will go left onto Shorthorn. We are at the end of the cul de sac on the right, 25560. Physical address: 25560 Shorthorn Cr., Ramah, CO 80832.
